The BMW S 1000 RR was initially developed for the BMW Motorrad team to continue its legacy in the World Superbike Championship. Since its commercial debut in 2010, it has become the benchmark for cornering performance in its class. In 2024, BMW Motorrad introduced the latest generation of the S 1000 RR, now more refined and engineered for pure performance, especially in cornering.
At BMW Motorrad Türkiye, we wanted to showcase the groundbreaking cornering capabilities of the new BMW S 1000 RR on a road that would truly test its limits. A standard track or highway wouldn’t suffice. Instead, we chose one of Türkiye’s most treacherous and winding roads—Kırkdilim Pass, located on the Çorum-Osmancık route. This road, named after its 40 perilous curves, was on the verge of closure due to the construction of new tunnels. It was the perfect location for a final ride before it will be closed forever.
